First peal: 1. First peal as conductor. Rung as a birthday compliment to Messrs. W. Forster and W. Ward, the last named is one of the local ringers, also in honour of the dedication festival service. The above peal was rung in place of Stedman Triples, this being the method originally arranged for, but the band meeting two short Messrs. Fryer and Luck very kindly took their places.
