Rung by some of the local band with the bells half muffled prior to the special service of Thanksgiving & Commemoration held this afternoon, remembering all those who have passed away during the past few months and whose funerals we have been unable to attend due to the covid restrictions.

Rung especially in memory of Ron Applewhite (former local ringer and village resident) Bryan Lyon, Terry Kelly, Richard Dorrington, Alan Munnings & Richard Short - friends of the conductor, all of whom have sadly passed away during the recent months.

The ringing took place using a combination of social/support bubbles and social distancing with all the ringers wearing face coverings.
