Rung at the request of the church officials to mark the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day (with regards to the current limited ringing conditions).
First change ringing at Seacroft since 16th March.
After the bells were lowered, single chimes were heard: 83 times on 2nd for Alastair (Blyth (former churchwarden; former ringer at Seacroft when there were 3 bells in the tower); 70 times on the 4th for Fred Ward (long-serving church organist) and 103 times on the 6th for Dame Vera Lynn (Entertainer who went to Burma to sing to Allied troops) - all three "passing on" during the time when the bells couldn't be rung. May they find peace and receive God's grace.

This performance is linked to the event VJ Day - 75th Anniversary .
