Commemoration Ringing: In Memory of Arthur Cuthbert Pitcher (25 May 1945 to 18 August 2020) who was the cousin of Jan Odell (ringer of the third bell). Arthur was the sixth child of nine born into a large farming family in Kent. Arthur's family moved to Australia and then back again and moved around to many places in the world. Arthur worked in a variety of jobs in different countries, finally settling in New Zealand where he opened several casinos. He died in Christchurch, NZ. Graham Cuthbert (a ringer at Harrietsham, Kent), Jan's brother and Arthur's cousin, wishes to be associated with this memorial ringing.
