Rung for the 75th Anniversary of V-P Day and the official end of World War 2. Ringing commenced at 12 noon as the announcement of the end of the War in our region was made at that local time. At the completion of the QP, the bells were lowered and the tenor then tolled In Memory of all those who lost their lives and those who suffered from the violence of war.

75 plain courses of World Peace Singles were rung.

The ringer of bell 1 remembers her father, Sgt T.H.Walker who fought in Papua New Guinea.
