72 Plain Bob Singles
(Rung on handbells - tenor: 8 in C)
1–2 Christopher C P Woodcock
3 Yvonne A Woodcock
This touch was specially rung here at Dorrington, under the east window of the Church in the churchyard, in memory of Reverend RICHARD DORRINGTON on the morning of his funeral. The length was specially chosen as Richard would have been 72 today.
Rung with our thoughts and prayers from Bryony, his wife, and the rest of his family at this difficult time.
Richard was a past Ringing Master of the Society 1973 - 1976, with both him and Bryony joining the Society back in 1968.
The ringer of 1-2 is the present Ringing Master of the Society but sadly was unable to attend the funeral today.
Our lives, like bells, while changing,
An ordered course pursue;
Through joys and sorrows ranging,
May all those lives ring true.
May we, through Christ forgiven,
Our faults and failures past,
Attain our place in heaven,
Called home to rest at last.

This performance was rung in memoriamRevd Richard Dorrington.
