Rung as a final farewell to our dear friend RON APPLEWHITE, bell ringer for 88 years at Potterhanworth, Branston & Washingborough, and Honorary Life Member of the Lincoln Diocesan Guild, that’s all being called on his long life, Friday 22nd May 2020 at the grand old age of 100.
Rung at Ron’s funeral by local ringers from Potterhanworth on handbells at the entrance to the drive way down to the Lincoln Crematorium as Ron made his final journey, passing by in the hearse, and his close family gathered outside the Crematorium.
Rest in Peace dear friend and we look forward to the day when we can ring the Church bells at Potterhanworth in memory of you and give you the send off you deserve!
During the funeral service at the Crematorium a recording of Lincoln Cathedrals bells was played in memory of Ron.

This performance was rung In memoriam — Ron Applewhite
