To mark the 175th anniversary of the birth of Sir Alfred Seale Haslam, 27/10/1844 - 13/01/1927. It was at his suggestion that the restoration and augmentation of these bells was included in the project to rebuild the west end of the church, and he donated the new 5th bell. Also in memory of Jack Bailey, former tower captain at St Peter's, who died on 21/10/1984.
