Rung following the final Eucharist taken by Rev Melanie Fitzgerald at St Mary’s Walkley before she retires as Vicar of St Mary’s Walkley. Melanie has been Vicar here for 18 years and during that time the bells were restored, rehung and a band of ringers started from scratch. Everyone involved with Walkley Bell Tower would like to be associated with this quarter peal and send their best wishes and thanks to Melanie on her retirement.
