Rung prior to the evening Contemporary Carol Service on the 40th anniversary of the first peal on the restored bells. The peal of Grandsire Triples on the 8th December 1979 also was the first peal for Janice Anderson and her daughter, Elizabeth.

The local ringers were honoured to have Elizabeth and her brother, Mark, ring with them on this special occasion in memory of their mother, who sadly passed away on the 8th September 2019, and to share refreshments later with their father, John, whose enthusiasm brought about the restoration of the bells.
