Rung on St Swithin’s Day to celebrate the Patronal Festival.
Rung following a failed peal attempt. Believed to be the first 720 in the method 56.16X16X1456-12 which the band wish to name Stragglethorpe Slow Bob Minor. (it was suggested by some band members that a more fitting name for it would have been Strugglethorpe)!
Hopefully today’s loss on St Swithin’s Day does not mean forty days of lost peals for the band members!
