Rung following the Memorial Service for Roy Stickling who died on 13th May 2019 at the age of 92.
Roy was a ringer at Presteigne and Knighton for over 30 years and spent much of that time as steeplekeeper at the two towers as well as tending the three bells at Norton. He was a major benefactor in the rehanging of Presteigne bells in 2016. It was only in the last couple of years that he found it too difficult to come up the tower to ring on a Sunday morning. Requiescat in pace.
