The traditional custom of pealing the bells at the Civic Church the day after Election Day to celebrate the elections of the new Councillors who will take their seats on the City Council. One of the traditional City Corporation ringing customs as observed since 1728.
Congratulations to Jackie Kirk, Churchwarden here, for being re-elected as a City Councillor.
First quarter in the variation for all the band. (Based on Ermine Court Minimus but with the second instead of the fourth ringing the parent method – Single Court Place Minimus).
250th quarter peal on the bells: 3.
(Rung also for the Lincoln Diocesan Guild)
