Rung by the local band prior to the Easter Day Morning Service.
Rung with the bells fully open in all their full might and glory, after being fully muffled through out the whole of Lent, to celebrate the resurrection of Christ.
‘Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!’
The number of changes specially chosen to represent the 33 years of Christ.
Rung especially thinking about all those caught up or killed in the Sri Lanka explosions this Easter morning and also thinking of the people of Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Rung remembering Pam Garner, former Churchwarden and Organist here who passed away at the end of June last year and whose memorial Easter / Paschal candle stand was unveiled and used for the first time this morning.
Finally rung to congratulate and celebrate the confirmation of Helen & Peter from our congregation who were both confirmed at the Easter Eve Confirmation service at Lincoln Cathedral last night.
(No. 427) (Rung also for the Lincoln Diocesan Guild)
