Especially arranged and rung half-muffled at the same time as a great memorial service for the Great War fallen, at St Clements-in-the-Strand, London, WC. This long touch was rung especially remembering local ringers who fell: Richard Staines, Frederick Staines, George Mills.
NB: details as given in a local newspaper cutting of the time; I suspect the band have been grouped by tower and are in the wrong order. The local men likely rang the 7-6-8.
