Rung in memory and on the centenary of the death of George Edward Smith of the Royal Navy Air Service, Service No. 238502. George died on 8th February 1919 aged 27 years.
Slinfold have rung 31 quarter peals between 2014 - 2019 in honour of the men who fell during World War I on the centenary of each death. This quarter peal is the final one and we would like to thank the ringing friends of Slinfold who have helped us to remember them.
