"On Saturday, December 3, a peal board was placed in SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Newport Pagnell, recording a peal of Stedman Triples (a variation of Thurstan's four-part) 5,040 changes which was rung on the bells of the Parish Church on Saturday, July 9, 1904, in 3 hrs. 18mins; also recording the first peal on the bells by members of the Bedfordshire Association of Change Ringers. The ringers were:- Messrs A. J. Hessian, F. Sear, J. George, C. W. Clarke, T. R. Hensher, H. Sear, Rev. F. E. Robinson (conductor), and V. Sear. The board was the work of Mr. J.
