Rung in honour of Lieutenant Eustace Gabriel Laurence Keatinge 3rd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, attached to 2nd battalion Durham Light Infantry at the time of his death, and fell in action on 13 April 1918, aged 26. He is buried at Polygon Wood Cemetery near Ypres, Belgium.
Dedicated to the memory of Captain John Nightingale, Royal Fusiliers and Tank Corps, who fell in 1918 at 5 days before Armistice and lived at their house, 28 Hough Green, Chester.
