Rung at 12.30 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice as part of the National Observance and especially to remember Canadian Nursing Sister Lena Aloa Davis who died on the 21st February 1918. Lena is buried in the St Andrew's churchyard. Andrea, the conductor, visits us regularly from Canada.

After the quarter peal Jo Osment rang as part of the commemoration.

The Sherborne St John quarter peal band who rang to commemorate WW1 Canadian Nursing Sister Lena Aloa Davis. The ringers are (left to right) Virginia Budd, Alex Fry, Lois Blissett, Lauren Taylor, Andrea Falk and Miriam Taylor. Lena died on 21st February 1918 and is buried in St Andrew's churchyard.
