Rung half-muffled on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Great War in remembrance of those who died or suffered as a result of the conflict and specifically remembering Walter Frost 1893-1917, a Market Deeping ringer who was killed in action by a sniper on September 20th 1917 aged 24. He is buried at New Irish Farm Cemetery West Vlaanderen, Belgium.
