Rung by the local band at 6.15pm on Armistice Day as part of the national ringing ‘Battle’s Over’ prior to the beacon lighting in neighbouring Metheringham. Rung with the bells half muffled to mark the Centenary of the Armistice remembering all those who were killed during the Great War 1914-1918, especially the 14 men & boys from this village who did not return.
