Rung with the bells half muffled to mark the Centenary of the Armistice remembering all those who were killed during the Great War 1914-1918.
We Will Remember Them!
"Ring out the thousand wars of old, Ring in the thousand years of peace."
Rung especially remembering Private KENNETH DYKES, who was killed in action on 31st July 1917 aged 19. Kenneth was a ringer at this Church.
The ringers of 2, 3, & 5 all learnt as part of the ‘Ringing Remembers’ campaign taught by the conductor.
This is the first time the 'new' Nocton band has rung together. The ringers of 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 all being Nocton residents and the treble ringer being the Tower Captain. WELL DONE!!!

This performance is linked to the event Ringing for the Centenary of the WWI Armistice
