Rung for the Rayleigh Town Council and Holy Trinity Church Service of Dedication launching the local 2018 Poppy Appeal. 198 poppies labelled with the names of Rayleigh townsfolk killed whilst serving their country were laid below the tower which itself was decorated with a sweep of 12,000 poppies. The outdoor Service was led by the Rev. David Oxtoby and amongst a large congregation were Mark Francois MP, Jack Lawmon Chairman of Rayleigh Town Council and members of the Royal British Legion.(Rung following an aborted quarter peal arranged for this service).
