Rung in honour of Private Charles Edward Griffiths of The Cheshire Yeomanry, transferred to 10th (Shropshire and Cheshire Yeomanry) Battalion King’s Shropshire Light Infantry, who fell in action in Palestine in March 1918.

Rung half muffled as part of the Chester Cathedral Guild of Change Ringers quarter peal day to remember the fallen.
