Around 20 villagers joined the band to ring backstrokes in our commemoration of the signing of the Armistice of 1918 and the end of WWI. Many wanted to participate in the ringing to remember and honour family members who had fallen, or who suffered, during the horrific years of battle. The bells rang out, half-muffled, over the village all afternoon
