World premiere of 'Everyone Sang', a new composition by Andrew Carvel for choir, orchestra, children's voices and church bells based on Siegfried Sassoon's poem, and performed as a part of 'Seeking Peace - Reflections on Armistice' a programme of music and historical symposium.
Ringing of the bells was an integral part of the music, featuring tolling, discordant raising of bells and rounds. Variation of volume of bell-sound conveyed to the audience in the church was achieved by opening and closing internal hatches and doors

This performance is linked to the events Ringing for the Centenary of the WWI Armistice and Scottish Association — SACR Ringing for Armistice.
