Rung for Guildford District Quarter Peal Weekend and as part of the “Tommy’s Travels” initiative. The photo shows the band with “Tommy”, who represents the ringers of the Winchester Diocesan Guild (as it was then), who fell in WW1. In the run-up to the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, Tommy will be present at ringing in towers from which the fallen ringers came, which includes four towers which subsequently became part of the Guildford District of the Guildford Diocesan Guild.
