Rung half-muffled in memory of two WW1 casualties who died 100 years ago on this day: Private Albert E Seers of Bath and Chaplain Archibald Longridge of Sowton, Devon. The ringer of the 5th bell is the great grandson of Chaplain Archibald Longridge. The composer of this peal died before the composition was rung; the first performance was at Hawkhurst, Kent on 26/04/1923 and today's peal is believed to be the second time the composition has been rung in its original form.
