This ringing is dedicated to the memory of all who gave their lives during World War One. In particular, Private Henry Connerton, a ringer at St Stephen’s Carlisle, who died in action on 27th September 1918 aged 30, whilst serving in the King’s Liverpool Regiment, whose memorial is Vis-en-Artois in France.
