Rung with the bells half muffled as a mark of respect and in fond memory of Pam Garner, immediately after her funeral and burial whilst the mourners made there way back up the Churchyard following the burial.

Pam has played a huge part in the life of St Andrew’s Church. She served as Church Warden here at St Andrew’s for 19 years (1998 – 2017), sat on the PCC for 33 years up until 2017 and has been Organist here for 35 years, a post she took up back in 1983 and has very much loved and enjoyed doing, in fact she was still playing our Organ each week and leading our Community Choir. Pam was also Chair of the Bell Fund Committee between 1999 & 2004 when we were raising funds to restore and augment our bells.
