First peal: 2,3.5
First peal in 7 methods on the bells.
This peal is believed to have been false. Letter from W Billenness printed in Bell News, Volume 24, 27 May 1905, page 135: "The composition of one of the 720s rung in the seven method performance at St Mary Key, Ipswich, on the 6th of this month, and published in your issue of the 13th, is false, and I must ask the band to withdraw all claim to it as a peal. I should have contradicted the truth of the peal last week, but felt quite assured the conductor would have done so.".
