In Memory of Second Lieutenant Charles Frederick Saunders, a ringer at Miles Platting, Manchester. Died 18/04/1918 age 25. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) 2nd Bn. Commemorated at Haringhe (Bandaghem) Military Cemetery, Belgium, Grave I F 6.

A muffled peal was rung to his memory at Miles Platting on 04/05/1918.
