Rung in memory of Private William Charles Beacham. Died 27/04/1918, aged 18. Royal Berkshire Regiment 2nd Bn. Service No.50545. Commemorated at Adelaide Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux, France, Grave II P 14.
One of eleven children, five surviving at the 1911 census. Son of William Beacham and Emma Beacham (née Farmer) of Raglan House, Old Road, Allesley, Coventry, Warwickshire. At the time of the 1911 census, he was working as a carpenter’s apprentice.
Born: Allesley. Enlisted: Coventry, initially in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, Service No.39954. Resided: Allesley.
