Rung by the local band with the bells half muffled to mark the centenary of the deaths of Private ALBERT SHARP who was killed on 21st March 1918 aged 21. He was the twenty-sixth Branston resident to be killed during the Great War.

Honourable age does not depend on length of days, nor is the number of years a true measure of life.
