Rung in memory and on the centenary of the death of Sgt. George Barclay Knight who enlisted in the Royal Sussex Regiment No. 1819, he then moved to the 1st Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Motors) No. 253. George died on 23rd March 1918, aged 19, his name is on the Pozieres Memorial. George was awarded the Military Service Medal.
