500th quarter peal: 2 – Well Done Robert!
Rung by the local band prior to Evensong and to mark the 52nd anniversary of the Rededication of All Saints Church (17th March 1966) after the disastrous fire of Christmas Day 1962 which gutted the Church. Luckily the bells survived the fire! The band wish to associate local ringer Ron Applewhite (aged 98) with this quarter. Ron was a member of the local band, holding the position of Tower Secretary at the time of the fire.
Rung also to celebrate the second anniversary of Reverend Lorna Brabin-Smith being Installed as Rector of All Saints Branston along with St Andrew’s Potterhanworth & All Saints Nocton.
