The ringer of the 4th bell is the eldest son of the Rector of this parish, the Rev. George Aitkens, M. A., and this is his first 5000. Mr. Aitkens rang his first 720 of Bob Minor on the Stanstead Church bells on March 9, 1905, a little more than 13 months ago. This was conducted by his old friend S. Slater.
