Rung in memory of Rifleman Ernest George Stratford aged 25 of 88 Folkestone Road, Portsmouth. Ernie died at the Battle of Cambrai on 6 December 1917. He was not known to be a ringer but was related to the Conductor. For many years the family home in Portsmouth was known as 'Cambrai' in Ernie's memory.
