Another 78th birthday compliment to John Cornelius an avid Great Western fan and also remembering Great Western Castle Class Locomotive 7017 G. J. Churchward. Built August 1948. First shed allocation Old Oak Common. Last shed allocation Old Oak Common. Withdrawn February 1963. Scrapped at A. King & Son, Norwich and also remembering George Jackson Churchward CBE who was chief mechanical engineer of the Great Western Railway from 1902 to 1922.
