Rung with the bells half muffled immediately prior to the Royal British Legion, City of Lincoln Branch, Service of Remembrance held at the City War Memorial on the High Street.
The quarter started at 10am and was followed by the tenor being tolled up to the 2 minutes silence at 11am.
The Service was attended by the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lincoln, the City Sheriff, members of the Civic Party and the Freemen of the City, along with various Forces Organisations, Associations, Veterans & Cadets and the Salvation Army Band.
Rung in memory of all those who have lost their lives fighting for our Country in conflicts past and present, especially during the two World Wars. We will remember them.
