First of Major inside, and first blows in Plain Bob Major: 3

Rung to mark 30 years since the Great Storm of 1987, in which two Christchurch fireman died when a tree collapsed onto their truck, whilst out rescuing local residents.

Also rung in fond memory of Barbara Jones, who died last Friday aged 87. Barbara lived in Christchurch all of her life and was a great friend to many ringers in the local area and further afield; and a long time ringer at the Priory, until ill health forced her to give up.
