For Sawbridgeworth Schools' Harvest Service and in memory of 2nd Lt Arthur L Barrett. He served with the 14th (County of London) Bn, London Scottish Regiment, and was then commissioned into the 1st/2nd Bn Leicestershire Regiment in April 1917. He died on this day in 1917 and is commemorated at the Tyne Cot Memorial.
