Birthday compliment to Lynn, Alex and Tony, all of whom have birthdays next week. Congratulations to Serena on achieving a Distinction in her Grade 8 singing exam and to Tim on achieving a Distinction in his Welsh exam. Noel won a bowls tournament this week and Jan got scratched in the face by a kitten. The organiser offers extreme apologies to Helen Sharpe for failing to be able to count to 8, but also is extremely grateful to her for graciously stepping down.
