Rung following the minute’s silence to celebrate Ascension Day, marking the start of the global wave of prayer known as ‘Thy Kingdom Come’. Part of the Diocese initiative for ringing across the Diocese on Ascension Day.
(This was to be a peal attempt starting at 10am for Ascension Day, but as a mark of respect we observed the national minute’s silence in memory of the Manchester victims, ringing a quarter peal immediately prior to and following the minute’s silence.)
