Specially arranged and rung to mark the 650th anniversary of King Henry IV being born here at Old Bolingbroke at Bolingbroke Castle on 15th April 1367.
We decided to ring the quarters today as 15th April fell on Holy Saturday.
The first of two quarter peals being rung here today, resulting in 2,650 changes being rung on the bells at Old Bolingbroke with this quarter before lunch being 1330 changes and the one after lunch being 1320 changes.
