375th peal: 2.

First peal in the method (previously rung to a quarter peal).

Rung in celebration of the life of Joy Burrows (nee Whitehead), who died last year; a committed Sunday service ringer at this church and excellent striker. Also for Joe Reeves, whose drive and commitment caused this tower to be built and the bells installed.

The band would like to associate the peal with Joy’s sister Mavis in Portsmouth and Joy’s friend Debbie Hay, who was unable to stand in the peal.
