Specially arranged to mark the centenary of the death of Private Alfred James Sample, 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment and a ringer at this tower. He was killed on 2nd April 1917 aged 29 and is buried at Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux, France. RIP.
