Rung in the afternoon following a service of dedication for the new peal board here, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Fr Stanley Evans' first peal. He presided at the Mass here at which this board was dedicated by him, followed by luncheon at 'The Maypole'.
After this lunch, this QP was rung to celebrate the Sapphire Jubilee of HM The Queen, which occurs tomorrow.
Also to mark the second season at Hever Castle for the ringer of the second.
Rung on the heavy five of the octave.
