This was a peal attempt which was called round due to unforeseen circumstances, it was
rung on the Fiftieth Anniversary of Rosemary’s first peal which was also Grandsire Doubles.
Sybil McLean (nee´ Tonkin) wishes to be associated with this performance as she was in Rosemary’s first peal and they both learnt to ring at this tower: Also rung in celebration of the recent refurbishment of the bells.
The band wish Hellingly’s Tower Captain William Lovell a speedy recovery.
