Rung to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta at Runnymede on 15th June 1215 which resulted in the Barron’s renewing their oaths of loyalty to King John this day in 1215.

This completes the Lincoln Magna Carta Peals with peals being rung this week at all (nearly all) the Lincoln towers (being: St Giles, St Mary-le-Wigford, St Botolph-by-Bargate & St Peter-at-Gowts) with the exception of the Cathedral!
